Zwilling J.A. Henckels Twin Four Star 7-Inch High Carbon Stainless-Steel Fillet knife Feature
- 7-inch blade, great for filleting fish or meat
- High-carbon stainless-steel blade ice-hardened for superior strength
- Sturdy, black molded polypropylene handle
- Safe to use in dishwasher
- Lifetime guarantee
The 7-inch hand-honed blade on this knife features a modest curve near the bolster and a straight cutting edge. The blade is long, slim, and flexible and is ideal for filleting fish or chicken; the thin edge allows the meat's fibers to be cleanly separated, making quick work of even the toughest tuna. Most of the Henckels lines--including the popular Four Star series--feature blades made of Friodur, a special, ice-hardened, no-stain steel created and patented by the company in 1939. This special formula was designed for exceptional hardness and high resistance to corrosion.
Founded in 1731, the J.A. Henckels company is not only one of the world's oldest cutlery manufacturers, it's also one of the most well respected, creating best-selling knives guaranteed to last a lifetime. --Kim Harwell
From the Manufacturer
 | First introduced in 1976, the Four Star® Series is one of the world's most popular knife lines. Four Star® knives were designed and developed in close cooperation with renowned professional chefs. The result was a fully forged knife with a unique molded handle. The Four Star® line contains knives for all tasks, and includes the following open stock knife types: parer, bread, peeling, sandwich, utility, carving, chef’s, granton edge slicer, santoku, and others. Four Star® knives are also available in a range of block sets and gift sets. | |
A Higher Standard in Knife Construction
Four Star® knives are precision forged from a single piece of exclusive-formula, high-carbon, no-stain steel under the all-new Sigmaforge standard. As a result, Four Star® knives have improved quality consistency, lasting sharpness, and perfect geometry. Sigmaforge one-piece construction also provides high precision and improved stability of the blade and steel structure, thus improving cutting-edge retention for lasting sharpness. In addition, Four Star® knives use J.A. Henckels’ Friodur ice hardening for corrosion resistance, a process that also contributes to cutting-edge retention.
It's All in The Grip:
 | The Four Star® series features high impact polypropylene handles that are permanently bonded to the knife blades without any gaps. These comfortable handles are break-proof, sanitary, and colorfast. In addition, the super bolster provides weight, insures safety, and adds balance. | |

VillaWare C5555-15 Pooh and Tigger Waffler Review
VillaWare C5555-15 Pooh and Tigger Waffler Feature
- Double-square waffler imprints pictures of Pooh and Tigger on each waffle
- Automatic thermostat control with indicator light
- Silicone nonstick coating on grids for easy cleanup
- Cool-touch handles with chrome housing
- Stands on end for compact storage; one-year warranty
Waffles from this Winnie-the-Pooh waffle iron may be just the thing to entice your busy toddler to sit down to breakfast. The grids on this two-square waffler have fun pictures in the center that imprint Pooh’s face on one side of the waffle and Tigger’s face on the other. The waffler starts to heat up as soon as it’s plugged in and takes about 5 to 8 minutes to reach the proper baking temperature. An indicator light in the shape of a bee turns red during preheating and during baking and turns off when waffles are done. The grids are coated with a nonstick silicone surface, which makes cleanup easier but requires that you remove waffles with non-metallic utensils to preserve the coating. The waffler’s handle and back are covered in durable plastic that remains cool to the touch during baking. However, the exterior chrome panel on the top of the waffler (embossed with pictures of Pooh and Tigger) gets very hot so make sure to keep it out of reach of little hands. The Winnie-the-Pooh waffler stands on one end for more compact storage and is covered by VillaWare under a one-year warranty.
