VillaWare C5555-15 Pooh and Tigger Waffler

VillaWare C5555-15 Pooh and Tigger Waffler Review

VillaWare C5555-15 Pooh and Tigger Waffler Feature

• Double-square waffler imprints pictures of Pooh and Tigger on each waffle
• Automatic thermostat control with indicator light
• Silicone nonstick coating on grids for easy cleanup
• Cool-touch handles with chrome housing
• Stands on end for compact storage; one-year warranty

Waffles from this Winnie-the-Pooh waffle iron may be just the thing to entice your busy toddler to sit down to breakfast. The grids on this two-square waffler have fun pictures in the center that imprint Pooh’s face on one side of the waffle and Tigger’s face on the other. The waffler starts to heat up as soon as it’s plugged in and takes about 5 to 8 minutes to reach the proper baking temperature. An indicator light in the shape of a bee turns red during preheating and during baking and turns off when waffles are done. The grids are coated with a nonstick silicone surface, which makes cleanup easier but requires that you remove waffles with non-metallic utensils to preserve the coating. The waffler’s handle and back are covered in durable plastic that remains cool to the touch during baking. However, the exterior chrome panel on the top of the waffler (embossed with pictures of Pooh and Tigger) gets very hot so make sure to keep it out of reach of little hands. The Winnie-the-Pooh waffler stands on one end for more compact storage and is covered by VillaWare under a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde VillaWare Disney Pooh Waffler bakes two classic waffles with Pooh's and Tigger's faces. Classic chrome housing with commemorative etching. Ready light tells when to start baking and when waffles are done. Automatic thermostat. Xylan non stick coating for easy clean up. VillaWare V5555-03 Mickey's Sandwich Maker

VillaWare V5555-03 Mickey's Sandwich Maker Review

VillaWare V5555-03 Mickey's Sandwich Maker Feature

• Makes two pocket sandwiches
• Cool touch handles
• Automatic thermostat control
• Non-stick interior
• Recipe booklet included

Even big kids will love this sandwich maker. What's not to like? Its classic chrome styling is terrific. It has a great heft when you pick it up. Its Bakelite handle stays cool and has a nifty lock to keep small fingers from accidentally opening the lid during baking. Best of all, the face of America's favorite mouse--Mickey--is emblazoned on both the inside and the outside of this dandy appliance. What fun to surprise your child with a toasted cheese sandwich with Mickey's face captured on top! Mickey sandwiches would also be perfect treats for children's birthday parties. The silicone nonstick surface is terrific and forgiving, as long as you remember to pre-oil it each time you use the appliance; we're partial to a nonstick spray. And you'll keep the surface working perfectly if you always use a plastic or wooden spatula. The sandwich maker comes with a spiffy booklet that provides clear directions and some tasty recipes, both for sandwiches and special desserts--we like the apricot delights for two. --C. Whitney-Ward Mickey's sandwich maker grills 2 sealed pocket sandwiches. Brands Mickey's face on both side of the sandwich. Classic chrome housing with commemorative etching. Xylan non stick coating, automatic thermostat and ready light. Stands on end for storage. Cool touch handles with clip.
